Purslane Seeds - Green

Delicious fresh in salads and meals. Can be prepared as a cooked green or eaten raw. A cultivated form of wild Purslane. Grows vertical and produces larger leaves than the wild variety.

Purslane likes warm soil to grow- is prolific and is  drought tolerant.

Seed about 40 seeds per foot.  Place about 1/8 – 1/4 inch deep in rows about 12-18 inches apart. Germinates in 5-7 days when soil is about 70 degrees F.  Mature in 25 – 30 days.
